<p>The Tactosy series devices come in pairs, so you need to specify the left and right sides for each device. If necessary, you can switch the left and right sides of each device. </p>

<li>Go to &#8220;Paired&#8221; tab on the menu. </li>



<li>In this tab, you &#8216;lll find your paired Tactosy series devices, each labled as &#8220;L&#8221; or &#8220;R&#8221;.  </li>



<li>To switch, simply click the &#8220;L&#8221; or &#8220;R&#8221; buttons as you want. </li>

<p>bHaptics Player is an essential software to connect and use bHaptics device(s) to your Quest headset. Therefore, before using the device(s), please download and install bHaptics Player (App Lab) from the Meta Quest Store.</p>

<li>Configure audio frequency settings to specify the range of audio signals that should be converted to haptic feedback. </li>



<li>Select the haptic feedback points that will be activated in response to the audio signal input. </li>



<li>Once you&#8217;ve completed, save the profile to your library. </li>

<li>Write down descriptions (optional), recommend content and select at east 2 tags. </li>

<p>On bHaptics Studio, you can create Audio-to-Haptic profiles by configuring audio frequency settings, mapping feedback points for each frequency. Once created, you can use the profile to enhance your Audio-to-Haptic experiences or shar it with other users by uploading it to bHaptics Player. </p>

<p>The wireless Audio-to-Haptics generates haptic feedback based on the characteristics of audio signals such as audio volume, tempo, and more. Therefore, if the audio volume is high, the haptic feedback is more intense, and the haptic feedback is delivered when audio signal is received.</p>



<p>However, you can manipulate the haptic feedback intensity and audio-feedback sync if you want. </p>

<p><strong>Important Note on Connectivity</strong></p>



<p>After pairing with Meta Quest, your bHaptics device may appear to disconnect; this is normal. It will automatically reconnect when you launch a compatible game. This behavior is typical as the device connects directly to the game to provide haptic feedback.<br></p>

<p>We recommend checking the game’s settings after launching it. Look for a setting labeled <strong>&#8220;Haptics&#8221;</strong> or <strong>&#8220;bHaptics&#8221;</strong>. If available, ensure this option is turned on to receive haptic feedback. This setting is added directly by the game developer, so its location and naming may vary depending on the game.</p>

Set automatic power-off of TactSuit X40


<p>If an audio cable is connected to TactSuit X40 for Wired Audio-to-Haptic, the audio signal input through the audio cable has priority, and all other signals are ignored. </p>



<p>So, if you play Natively Supported Content while an audio cable is connected to TactSuit X40, it will deliver haptic feedback automatically converted from the audio signal instead of the embedded haptics. </p>



<p>Therefore, to enjoy Natively Supported Content, you have to disconnect an audio cable from the TactSuit X40, but for your convenience, we provide &#8220;DISABLE Audio-to-Haptic&#8221; option.</p>

<p>To disable device&#8217;s Wired Audio-to-Haptic : </p>

<li>Go to Device tab, and uncheck Wired-Audio-to-Haptic option.</li>



<li>After deactivate Wired-Audio-to-Haptic option, an icon indicating this status will appear next to the device icon. Also, the Purple light, indicating the Wired Audio-to-Haptic mode, will turn off and change to solid blue.</li>

Disable wired Audio-to-Haptic of TactSuit X40


<p>To prevent accidental turning off of TactSuit X40 while sitting in a chair, you can lock the power button of the device via bHaptics Player. Once the &#8220;Button Lock&#8221; option is enabled, the power button will not work until the device is unpaired. </p>



<p>To turn off the device when the button lock is enabled, unpair the device first, ahd then press the power button. </p>

<li>Prepare an audio cable, Y-jack and headphones, and your Meta Quest headset. <br>(An audio cable and Y-jack are included in the accessories box.)</li>



<li>Plug Y-jack into the audio source of your Meta Quest headset. </li>



<li>Connect the audio cable from your headphones to the Y-jack.</li>



<li>Connect one end of an audio cable to the Y-jack and the other end to your TactSuit.  <br>(You&#8217;ll notice the LED indicator changing to purple when the audio cable is plugged into the TactSuit.)</li>

<li>Only inner lining can be detached and machine washed with neutral detergent. </li>



<li>We recommend replacing the inner mesh lining periodically to maintain the product in hygienic conditions. </li>



<li>Be careful liquid, small particles, or any foreign obejcts not to enter the device. If this happends, discontinue use, power off the device, disconnect it from the elctrical outlet immediately, and contact bHaptics Support Team. </li>

Can I use VIVE trackers with TactSuit?

How do I check my TactSuit information? (e.g. Battery Status, Firmware, etc.)

<p>You can go as far as 10M in a normal environment, but it is heavily dependent on your environment.<br />
 It could be further when a line-of-the-sight between the dongle and devices is secured, but shorter when there is heavy wireless signal disturbance.</p>


How far can you go away from Bluetooth source?

<p>It depends on your wireless environment; however, in a normal office setting, the latency is less than 20ms (99th percentile). You wouldn’t be able to notice latency when playing games.</p>


Is there a possibility that Bluetooth latency or interference occurs?

<p>You can use one Bluetooth dongle to connect multiple bHaptics devices; however, due to Windows protocols, you can connect up to 5 Bluetooth devices at a time.<br />
 Each arm/hand/foot device is considered as one Bluetooth device; therefore, you cannot use all TactSuit devices together at once.<br />
 An accessory that will allow you connect all the devices together is currently under development. If you are a business client and would like to connect more than 5 bHaptics devices at the same time, please contact <a href="mailto:support@bhaptics.com">bHaptics Support Team</a>.</p>


How many TactSuit devices can I connect using the provided Bluetooth dongle?

<p>At large events and exhibitions where there is an extreme amount of Wi-Fi signals, it is possible that the Bluetooth connection becomes unstable.<br />
You can secure the Bluetooth connection by turning on the <b>Stable Connection</b> on bHaptics Player.</p>

 Open Device Manager on your PC, expand the Bluetooth branch, and check if you see all 3 of the following drivers:<br />
  &#8211; Generic Bluetooth Radio<br />
  &#8211; Bluetooth Enumerator<br />
  &#8211; Bluetooth LE enumerator</p>
<p> <b>If you see all of the items above, </b>please make sure you have the latest version of the bHaptics Player installed on your PC. If you continue to experience the issue, please contact <a href="mailto:support@bhaptics.com">bHaptics Support Team</a> with a screenshot of error message on your bHaptics Player.</p>
<p> <b>If you can’t see all of the items above,</b> it is because your PC’s internal Bluetooth or previously installed Bluetooth driver is interfering with the provided dongle.<br />

 2. If there is a previously installed Bluetooth driver, such as CSR Bluetooth Radio, please uninstall all software related to the driver.<br />

<p>The TactSuit works with Windows Mixed Reality headsets.<br />
 In normal circumstances and environments, such as a show room, office, and home environments, you will have no issues using your WMR controllers and TactSuit together. However, you may experience interference when using them together in a crowded environment, such as exhibitions and trade shows, where there are lots of strong Wi-Fi signals.</p>


Will my TactSuit interfere with WMR controller tracking because of Bluetooth?

<p>Bluetooth connection between bHaptics devices and consoles is currently not supported.</p>
