Question 1

Are bHaptics devices compatible with all games?

Accepted Answer

There are two ways to enjoy games with bHaptics: In-Game Support: Experience the most immersive gameplay through official and community integrations. With native or mod support, haptic feedback is precisely tuned by developers and modders to match in-game actions. Check our list of compatible games for more details. Audio-to-Haptics: For games not listed, you can still enjoy immersive feedback through Audio-to-Haptics. This feature automatically converts sound into real-time haptic feedback, and we provide preset profiles optimized for rhythm games, VR FPS titles, movies, and more.

Question 2

Are bHaptics devices really one-size-fits-all?

Accepted Answer

All bHaptics devices come in one adjustable size to fit most body types. For the TactSuit Pro, you can purchase an optional Extension Strap to extend that fits by up to 8 inches (20 cm).

Question 3

Are bHaptics devices suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

Our products are designed for users aged 13 and older, both in terms of size and technical features. The vest is not suitable for children, as improper sizing may cause discomfort or potential health issues.

Question 4

Can I use the TactSuit when watching videos or films on Netflix, Disney+, or YouTube?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can enjoy immersive, audio-based haptic feedback while watching your favorite content on your Windows PC. Please note that Mac OS is not supported at this time.

Question 5

Can I use VIVE trackers with the TactSuit?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You can wear VIVE trackers either over or under your TactSuit, and their Bluetooth signals will not interfere with each other.

Question 6

Can I wash my bHaptics device?

Accepted Answer

The main parts of any bHaptics device that contain electric motors and wiring must not be washed under any circumstances. If they become dirty, gently wipe the affected area with a soft cloth. However, the Mesh Lining, Inner Lining, and Inner Gloves are removable and can be washed separately.

Question 7

Do bHaptics devices come with a charger or power adapter? Can I use any charger?

Accepted Answer

The TactSuit includes a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, but it does not include a power adapter. The device charges via a USB-C port, and you can use any AC adapter that meets your region’s safety standards, such as UL-certified adapters for the U.S. or CE-certified adapters for Europe.

Question 8

Do bHaptics devices provide body tracking, or do I need to use them with Vive trackers?

Accepted Answer

The TactSuit does not include body tracking features. Similarly, the TactGlove does not provide hand tracking on its own but is compatible with camera-based hand tracking systems such as the Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Pico 4 series. For body tracking, the Tactosy for Feet includes tracker mounting modules, allowing you to attach HTC Vive Trackers for games that require body movement tracking.

Question 9

What is the difference between TactSuit Pro and TactSuit Air?

Accepted Answer

TactSuit Pro and TactSuit Air both deliver immersive haptic feedback but feature distinct designs tailored to different play styles. TactSuit Pro is equipped with 32 haptic motors, providing a more detailed and intricate feedback experience. It also includes an LED Controller Wheel, allowing users to easily adjust the intensity of haptic sensations during use. TactSuit Air, on the other hand, features 16 haptic motors in a lightweight design that’s perfect for freedom of movement. It comes in two stylish colorways, Onyx and Ash, combining performance with visual appeal. Each suit brings a unique experience, so you can choose the one that best fits your style of play!

Question 10

What kind of feedback do I get from bHaptics devices?

Accepted Answer

All bHaptics devices, except the TactGlove, are equipped with ERM motors that produce vibration-based feedback. The TactGlove uses LRA motors.
